Hmong Arts & Music Festival

Saturday - August 26th
5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

We will be playing two songs at the Center for Hmong Arts and Talent's 5th Annual Hmong Arts and Music Festival. The first song will debut Joy Divine and include a guest violinist, Rachael Athmann. The other song is a collaboration with the band, Shattered Echo'z. This song fulfills the criteria to participate in this festival, which is a merging of a traditional Hmong art form with a contemporary art form.

The festival will be held at the Western Sculpture Park in St. Paul, located between University Avenue and I-94 on Marion Street across the street from Sears.

CHAT'S 5th Annual Arts and Music Festival's theme this year is The Hmong Chronicles. It is considered an important time in history to reflect on what it means to be a Hmong-American now that they have been here for 30 years. It is also critical to examine what effect the newest wave of refugees is having on the their culture.
